“Greenland is probably one of the most incredible places in the Arctic. A land where nature draws the history of those who inhabit it. I traveled along Disko Bay and was stranded in Upernavik due to bad weather. I found myself alone in one of the northernmost villages in Greenland. I had no contacts there-but what I discovered was a remarkable sense of humanity.
When I reached out to the locals, they welcomed me with warmth, revealing a culture preserved by ice and time.
They shared stories that felt timeless, passed down through generations. The light is infinite, the silence is deafening. Then the weather changes: snow and wind arrive. A new story of Arctic Visions begins right here, where I was supposed to stop only for a technical layover, and where instead I had the chance to encounter a culture I will never forget.”
